Present Family tree star Sofia Vergara, who is up for Outstanding Supporting Player in a Comedy Run at the Emmy Awards this year, and The Soup and Community star Joel McHale joined forces to announce the nominees in the foremost categories of the Primetime Emmy Awards, which are set to air on NBC Distinguished 29 with Jimmy Fallon on hand to host the show.

The contenders in the Outstanding Comedy Run category include Curb Your Enthusiasm, fan pet Glee,Present Family tree, Nurse Jackie,The Personnel and 30 Rock. Lead actors and actresses nominated for their work in comedy run include Amy Poehler, Alec Baldwin, Steve Carell, Tina Fey, Jim Parsons, Larry David, Tony Shalhoub, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Edie Falco, Toni Collette, and Lea Michele and Matthew Morrison from Glee.
